The Zambia Police Thrift and Credit Co-operative Society was registered on 11th March 1954. The objective for which the society was registered was the promotion of “Thrift and Savings” amongst its members.

For Savings Accounts members are required to contribute a minimum of ZMW 100 monthly and maintain a minimum account balance of ZMW 100 after drawings. There is no upper limit to contributions or savings.

The Zambia Police Thrift, Credit and Co-operative Society offers two types of loans to it's members, and this depends on the members account savings balance and monthly contribution. These are soft loans and ordinary loans.
